Project Description
GOOD MORNING AMERICA | Times Square – New York City, New York
ABC Looks to D3 Once Again
Today’s stars aren’t the only ones shining on the set of Good Morning America. The show introduced a collection of custom-shaped LED additions in 2019 to enhance the popular morning show’s story-telling abilities.
Changing Menus at GMA’s Visual Feast
To visually accentuate the studio set and to bring greater flexibility, D3 installed a ticker, center display, and 13 vertical mullion columnsto actively stream news, GMA graphics, and show segment-supporting content. Driven by a D3® AEPIMS™ Advanced Element Processor + Integrated Media Server, content can run smoothly, thanks to all-in-one solution that effortlessly manages ABC Studios’ 7.5 million+ pixels across all displays.
The AEPIMS also controls the world-renowned ABC Studio ribbon displays, circulating messages at street level to Times Square’s extensive daily foot traffic and broadcast nationwide every morning.
In addition, D3® TrueControl software seamlessly delivers content across a canvas of many different shapes and sizes of displays.
