NEW YORK, USA: D3 LED LLC, introduced two custom indoor 4mm high-resolution LED displays at the opening of a new flagship store in San Francisco's Union Square for U.S. specialty retail apparel chain Express Inc.

Featuring the latest Express store design, the new 15,726 square foot location at 301 Geary Street reflects an elevated in-store experience and showcases elements of refined chic combined with forward-thinking design to create an individual space and sense of style.

Using its new indoor 4mm high-resolution LED display solution, D3 created two distinct digital canvases for Express to present highly stylized brand content and enrich the in-store customer experience.

D3's massive digital LED column standing more than 13 ft. high welcomes visitors to Express Union Square with high-definition content featuring the brand's four lifestyles.

This curved 4mm high-resolution LED column is the only 4mm LED display in the world having a 36 in. or less convex radius. For above the store's cash wrap area, D3 designed a stunning 121.52 sq. ft. 4mm high-resolution LED display to create a branded focal wall visible from any point on the store's main floor.

Due to the custom nature of the project, Express was looking for a company that could not only deliver state-of-the-art display systems, but also act as a true partner throughout the process.

D3's highly skilled project team participated in a collaborative manner with Express on several aspects of the project as a whole and provided insights into the operation and long-term sustainability of the display program.

"Our vast experience in the retail space was instrumental in bringing this project to fruition," said Jason Barak, D3 managing partner. "From concept to design to execution, we could not be more pleased and look forward to working with the Express team on future customer engagement projects, said Barak."

With over 600 dual-gender retail stores in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and the Middle East, Express is a leading fashion retailer, offering merchandise appropriate for work, casual and going-out. Express provides men and women with unparalleled individual style selections, drawing on over 30 years of the brand's experience as a fashion authority.

D3, a leading authority on the future of retail technologies, works with some of the world's most influential retail brands including Guess, Aeropostale, Victoria's Secret, UNIQLO, Walgreens, Disney Store, Quiksilver, and Forever 21.

The Company says it will design additional LED display experiences for another Express flagship store coming to New York's Times Square in 2014.
